Charmed Prue/Moony
Moony is a beautiful Lab mix. She is one of the easiest to care for foster dogs I have ever had. She is fully house-trained. Although she is crate-trained, there is never any need to put her into a crate. She does not get into things you wouldn’t want her to get into or cause any kind of problem in the house, even when no one is home to keep an eye on her. She gives wonderful soft kisses. She responds well to the commands sit, down, leave it, and high five. That last one is a game. You hold your hand out, and she taps it with her paw. She is still learning to come consistently when called. Moony knows that sitting down is good behavior, so she normally sits when she expects food or treats. She knows what “walk” means, so don’t say it unless you plan to take her for a walk right away! She does pretty well on a leash but can easily get excited about the people and animals she sees. She is friendly to other dogs and to people. Although labs love water, Moony says no thank you! She likes lying on someone’s lap when napping and sometimes gives a small bark to ask someone to sit on the couch with her. Her favorite treat is peanut butter sandwiches.
