Penelope

Penelope is very people oriented and would love a family that includes kids who like playing with dogs. She wants lots of attention and affection from people. So far, she has not been greatly interested in playing with my friendly but vigorously playful dog. She is fully house trained. One time she was in our enclosed porch and chose to climb onto a planter with soil and flowers in it instead of doing it on the floor. I was impressed. Although she is reluctant to get into a crate when she wants to be doing things, she accepts it. When she is ready for a nap or a night's sleep she settles on her blanket in the crate on her own and stays there even if the door to the crate stays wide open for a couple of hours.
