Meet Jasper and Olive, siblings recently rescued literally at their 11th hour from a shelter in North Carolina. They are healthy, happy, energetic -- and couldn't be more different than if they were a different species!! Olive is bigger -- at 13 lbs now, about 50% bigger than her little brother.  She is very Border-Collie-ish!  She is affectionate, friendly, and smart.  She LOVES to bat at and carry around tennis balls and sometimes even brings them back to me to throw for her.  She will sit on my lap and get tummy rubs and snuggles -- temporarily!  But, hey, she's busy!  She's got things to do, places to go, people to see!  And she is off and running.  Sometimes she doesn't just run -- she actually bounces up and down like she's on four pogo stick instead of legs.  Her favorite past-times are playing with tennis balls, carrying rocks around in her mouth, and bullying and wrestling her little brother to the ground.  (Must not be too bad, though -- when she quits and walks away, he runs after her for more!). Applications are being accepted now; but you might want to hurry...this little guy and gal are going to be very popular!
