Mastiff Sarah

Sarah is a gorgeous puppy; she is a striking copper color and looks a bit like a Rhodesian Ridgeback. She was found and trapped along with her two sisters and brother. Sara had obviously had very little human contact before she came into the rescue. She has rapidly learned to eat from our hands, rest calmly in her crate, and not use the bathroom in the house. Sarah drags a leash at all times and is learning how to walk calmly from place to place.  Each day she warms up more to human contact and is beginning to enjoy being petted. If you are willing to give her time and space to warm up to you and your home, if you are willing to accept small steps as big victories, and if you can understand that due to missing critical socialization at an early age may cause this wonderful little girl to always have some fears, you will soon find that you have an amazingly loyal, smart, beautiful companion as a reward for your patience.
