Mitzy

Mitzy is a complete sweetheart. She went to the vet this week and they said she was the best behaved patient that they had all day!! Unfortunately she tested positive for heartworm, and is now undergoing treatment. She'll be available for adoption after her treatment has been completed around mid August.

Mitzy does well in the crate, and loves to cuddle and take walks. She is very quiet and has only barked once since she came to stay with us. She is also friendly with other dogs, and has a submissive demeanor unless she sees a squirrel!  She wants to take off anytime a squirrel is in sight. Poor Mitzy had a rough start to life. She was left at a shelter  while expecting puppies. Unfortunately the pregnancy took a turn for the worse and she had to have an emergency c-section. Sadly none of her pups made it. She is really a very sweet girl that deserves a home of her own.
