Chip came to A Forever Home after being dropped off at a Maryland shelter and saved from a backyard breeder in a group of 22+ dogs and puppies. He is a cream colored Poodle mix (14 lbs.) and very handsome. Chip has bonded quickly to his foster mom and does not want to be apart from her. (He will transfer this love to his forever person who adopts him.) In bed, he snuggled up close in her arms let out a long breath and fell asleep. For a breeder dog, he is amazingly affectionate, quick to learn and eager to please his person. Chip and Ace (his brother) have become my shadows; they follow me everywhere in the house and keep an eye on me when we are in the back yard. Chip is now fully housebroken and we are working on crate training (it is going very well). Chip is not food aggressive; not dog aggressive at all. Chip has all his shots and is ready for his 'forever home' (as soon as he has been neutered 3/7/12). He has already learned the commands: no, '1-2-3', and off. He also gets along with his two housemates (my dogs). Chip needs to find someone who will love him...he wants to give you the "utmost unconditional love". He wants to sit next to you (or on your lap) take long naps and sleep with you in your bed and be your dog. He loves romping in his foster's fenced in back yard with his brother Ace.
