The PERFECT 'FIRST' FAMILY DOG...a very low-maintenance well-behaved dog! If this is going to be your family's first dog...look no further than my little man; Murphy... AFH has done all the work for you! Housebroken, Crate Trained, well-mannered, great in the car with the family, not food aggressive not dog aggressive at all. Great with (well-mannered) small children; great with all adults. Murphy has a low key attitude and appears to be in very good health! Murphy is a male Peke mix He is "Totally Crate Trained and Housebroken" just a love bug looking for a loving rub behind his floppy soft tan ears. Murphy is very well-behaved. He is already neutered. Murphy loves his 'special cookie' (for his dental health) and once I toss his special cookie in his crate he hops right in. Although if I am only gone for a couple of hours I will generally leave Murphy (and my two dogs) free to roam the downstairs area (crate door open if he wants to take a nap). He also sleeps on his back paws up in the air....but unlike other pugs he does not appear to snore! Murphy is a very good doggie. He is not food aggressive and he is in training to wait patiently for you to place the bowl in front of him to eat. He is (quickly) learning the commands: no, sit, and off. He already comes when he is called, and responds quickly to the command; quiet (or enough)...(for barking at passing folks and other dogs outside my fence). We have also had success 'waiting' prior to going out the door and prior to coming in the house. He also gets alone with her two house mates (my dogs). Murphy needs to find someone who will love him...he wants to give you the "utmost unconditional love". He wants to sit next to you and be your dog. He will sleep on his doggie bed at the foot of my bed all night long or quietly in his crate downstairs. Murphy loves to lie in the middle of the kitchen (tile) floor as I prepare food. He is so trusting as I step over him moving about the kitchen from station to station. Murphy walks well on a leash. Again I am very impressed with Murphy and how well he behaves and gets along with all other dogs that we have met so far.
