Patch the beagle

Beagle Mix
Hi, my name is Patch and I am the smartest one of the litter. The people who adopted my litter mates did not know what they were passing up. I also don't know who my Dad was. By my coloring, he might have been a steer! I have black and white patches which is why I am called Patch. Pretty clever these humans, huh? I am a fun loving puppy who always wants to play. Sure I spend some of my time beating up on Paulie, but he started it! I will also be about 40 pounds when I grow up, but I don't plan on growing up any time soon. Being a puppy is just too much fun! I really enjoy playing with my fosters. For some reason they are especially pleased that I know how to sit. They "trained" me to sit. Hate to break it to them, but I already knew how to sit. But anything to make my fosters happy is good by me! I would be great in an active family with kids. I just bet I can play longer then they can! But when I am done playing, I also like to cuddle too. I hope that some family will fall in love with me. I am a good dog full of equal parts of love and playfulness. Could I be your dog? Update I am still looking for a home. I am about 5 months old and I am growing up fast. I have been doing so well on my paper training that my foster, while he was at home, allowed me free run of the house. I did have one accident early in the week and I was sorry for that. But for the rest of the week no accidents from me! I understand how important it is not to mess up my den. My fosters have started taking me outside and I am starting to understand why, but I still like my paper in the corner. But I am learning. I know my name and I can not only sit, but can also lay down...for a treat that is. I like learning new tricks and I seem to pick them up quickly. I like being with the other dogs and have behaved myself around the other foster dogs. My fosters keep calling me a good dog and I believe it. I like having fun, but growing older also means that I need to behave myself. Now that I am 5 months old, I am about as tall as I will get. I have a lot of filling out to do in the next few months, but I am a pretty small/medium size dog (<40 pounds when fully grown). Way smaller than my Foster's adult Labs. I am just the right size to snuggle up with you on a sofa/chair. I am just the right size for a long run or romp in the yard. I am just the right size to be next to you without crowding you. The only question is whether I am just the right size for someone to love. I hope so. Do you think you could love a dog like me?
