Shih Tzu Mix

Radar is a Shih Tzu Mix. We were told he was 2 years of age, but the vet thinks he may be older. Radar is housebroken and crate trained and a very well-behaved dog. Radar is a quick learner. He loves to sit with us and watch TV and knows the commands "NO" and "Quiet." Radar is learning that he has to be invited into the house (from outside) and is doing very good with this new command. So far he has never even tried to jump up on anyone. If you walk over to him, he generally (in slow motion) falls down and rolls over to get a belly rub. His foster family thinks it is funny how he does this in slo mo. He is well-behaved in a car (a good rider). He is just a gentle soul and seems to get along with all the other dogs at the house. Oscar and Radar have even been seen playing together in the back yard...and anyone who knows my Oscar knows what a surprise this is. If I had to classify Radar I would refer to him as a low maintenance dog...he is very responsive to commands and just plain ole gets along with everyone and every dog he comes into contact with. Although he was not in great shape when she first arrived at AFH, he is very happy to be in a home where he is warm, fed and loved.
