Rookie is a Cockapoo who was brought into the shelter by his previous owners because he was acting too much like a puppy for them. Rookie is great with children and is good with other dogs. See how well he is doing with his foster friend the puggle? He looks a mess right now, but will be getting groomed soon. Rookie is leash trained, very lovable and extremely sweet. He loves attention and likes being held in your lap. He will need to be crated when no one is home because he does like getting things. Update: Rookie just got to his new foster home. He is active, but if he has enough exercise, he's happy to rest at your feet while you watch TV or read. He does tend to follow you around the house. He gets along good with all the dogs he has met so far. He's all hair -- after a bath you will see how small the little guy is. When he's excited he jumps straight up into the air. He enjoys car rides and overall is very eager to please -- not to mention downright adorable!!
