Emerald (Emmy) is a beautiful little girl, inside and out. All she needs is a tiara! She has very fine features and an elegant build. She is a fairly quiet, cuddly dog but also loves to roll around with her roommate, Gem, and foster brother, or chase a ball. She is not very chewy or "barkative". She is very clean in her enclosure and happy to go into a crate. She is paper trained and we are working on moving that skill outside. She loves her food and willingly takes her puppy meds. She seems to get along well with women and children who are gentle with her. She was initially nervous of her foster dad (who arrived home unannounced late one night) and growled at him, but within 24 hours he could pick her up with an appreciative lick to the ears as thanks! Emmy will make a very loyal, affectionate pet who needs a little time to warm up to new situations but adapts fairly quickly. She is a wonderful little dog.
