Phoebe is a very soft, very snuggly sweetie who wants nothing more than to sit with you and snuggle long and lots. She is very playful and enjoys being with other dogs and people. She is a bit timid, but is totally non-aggressive, even when there's food around. (How's THAT for a beagle???) She is learning about treats-hasn't figured out Greenies yet, but enjoys many of the others, especially when her foster plays the treat game with all of the dogs. She loves to play, especially tug with the other dogs, and has done wonderfully with her foster's VERY LARGE pup and with Audrey (who is visiting for a while). She is housetrained and answers to her name-although she's more likely to sidle up to you than to walk up (who knows what this youngster experienced?). Caution...maybe some fear…but NO aggression or defensiveness. She will make someone a very special pet...
