Hello, we are Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis Jr, also known as The Crooners. We use to live in a terrible place called a puppy mill, but now we are safe since AFH came to our rescue. The first picture is all three of us. (Dean and Frank are adopted) UPDATE: The Crooners have broken up and each have gone on to their solo acts. Poor Sammy still needs a record deal.....I mean his forever home. Sammy has come a long way. He is still shy, but gets very excited when people are around and he will jump up and down and dance in the cute way Doxins do. He will come when called 2 out of 3 times. He is not housebroken and he afraid of the leash, but we continue to work on both of the those. He LOVES to be around other dogs and snuggles with one of them when it is time to sleep. Sammy would do best in a home with another dog since he needs to build his confidence by watching the other dogs. UPDATE2: Sammy loves his leash now. When he thinks he is getting left out of trip outdoors, he goes to get the leash so he will not be left behind. His house breaking is much improved and he now only has an occasional accident. Sammy is special and we hope someone with love, patience, and understanding will open their home and heart to him to give him the life he deserves.
