HI my name is Brittany and I am a six year old tan and white Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix that weighs about 9 pounds. I was actually born on independence day so every year as we celebrate independence day we are also celebrating my birthday. The very first thing I got to say about me outside of the fact that I am really cute is that I love to be in your lap. My very first day at my foster mom's house I was in her lap while she was on the computer. My little head resting on the table my body curled snuggled on her lap and every time the computer makes noises my ears would perk right up like mores code. I am a little on the shy side, but once I get use to you I'm sure we will be fine. I'm still trying to get use to my foster mom's obnoxious dogs, they are just too excited and noisy for me. Because of this I think I will be happier in a quiet home or one with older children who already know they need to be nice and considerate to me. My very first night I slept in the crate curled up in a towel of hers to help me feel a little more secure, I would prefer to be sleeping in her bed as that was what my previous mom used to let me do, but I will sleep anywhere where I feel safe. My previous mom said that I am house-trained and I never had an accident at my foster mom's home yet so I'm sure once I get used to my surroundings and you get use to my signal we will not have a problem. My foster mom is still trying to get to know me, so more information will follow.
