English Springer Spaniel Mix
Hi! My name is Koda though I seem to respond better to Baby, because that is what I want to be....your baby. I am 2 year old English Spaniel mix I am full grown and only weigh about 23 lbs. I am a real sweetheart if I do say so myself. I love attention and will follow you around wherever you go, and if you let me will even sleep in your bed and keep you warm, but if you put my bed beside yours I am content to lie there as well. I absolutely hate it when my foster Mommy has to go to work, so I am hoping to find a family to be there for me so I don't have to be alone for long. I would like to be the only dog in the family but will get along with any pet you may have, but please let us meet first. My foster mom has a kitty that I learned that I am not allowed to chase and we seem to get along quite well actually. I don’t have enough patience around young children and will be happier with older children or an adult only household. I just have trouble tolerating someone in my face all the time especially if I wake up from a nap. I am house-trained and crate trained, but I really don’t like the crate much but am starting to accept it more. I can be trusted to not get into too much trouble when it is time for bed. However if you were to leave me alone, I'm not sure what I would do, because I just want to be with you. I first came to my foster mom by a very friendly lady who rescued me from Georgia ready to be euthanized. When she brought me to the vet she discovered that I was heartworm positive and really pretty sick. I underwent six long weeks of heartworm treatment and was slowly nursed back to health. I am feeling a whole lot better and defiantly have a lot more spunk then I did. At times I am quite energetic especially if it is time for a walk. Wouldn’t you want a very loving little girl like me to be part of your family?
