When Trevor came into our home, he was an anxious, insecure, and reactive 7 month old terrier mix.  My then elderly mini-schnauzer was a calming reassuring influence, but the world was still very scary for him.  After 15 months of training, desensitization, behavioral modification, and just plain maturing, I think Trevor finally realized everything would be ok.  We have since competed in obedience, Fast CAT, rally obedience, as well as been exposed to barn hunting which he enjoys.

On 6/9/19, Trevor completed a milestone achievement, 2 2/3 years in the making.  He earned the World Cynosport Rally’s (WCRL) highest combined rally championship the ARCHMX.  So now Trevor is an All Rally Master Champion, in addition to being a United Kennel Club (UKC) Companion Dog, titled in AKC Fast CAT (100 yd dash after a lure) with an average top speed of 26.17 mph – pretty respectable for a terrier mix, and a Canine Good Citizen with Trick Dog titles. At 5 yrs of age, Trevor now has 2 sisters to play with so life is good and he’s blossomed into a great friend.  Thank you for allowing me to adopt him in 2014.  The photo is a recent one of Trevor in Finksburg, MD where he won 1st and 3rd place in Fast CAT in his height class.

Yours, Diana H and Trevor
