Wuzy is a sweet little guy. We are uncertain of his breed mix, but we believe he will be around 30 pounds full grown. He is very sweet and playful. He loves to be held and is crate trained.

This girl is coming from a hoarding case. These dogs were living in cramped, filthy conditions. Their owner became overwhelmed because the dogs were unfixed and it just became too many dogs for her to care for properly.

My buddy and I really like this new place. The people said my name needs to be changed to Shadow because I like to follow them and be close all of the time. I am trying hard to remember to use the yard and not the house for my necessities. The people say I am doing really good so far. I am really trying hard. They have a dog that is just our size. He showed us the best places to sniff in the yard and how to run circuits with the neighbor dog. There are lots of toys and pillows and and laps for snuggling in. I like it here, but they tell me my forever home will be even better. I am so excited to know I will have somewhere special of my very own someday.

My buddy and I really like this new place. I am much shyer than he is, but the people understand and let me come to them. I like to come to them. I like it a lot. They told me I am the best computer dog ever. I prefer to cuddle in a lap but am happy curled up at your side or at your feet as long as I can be close. They keep telling me I am a good girl even though I am a boy. I do not care since they say it is because I have such a sweet, kissable little face. Who can complain about that! I am trying hard to remember to use the yard and not the house for my necessities. The people say I am doing really good so far. I am really trying hard. I really like our new dog friend and am not shy at all with him. I like it here, but they tell me my forever home will be even better. I am so excited to know I will have somewhere special of my very own someday.

Walter is a friendly, loving dog who wants to be around people. He hasn't met a person he doesn't like and loves to be scratched on the head or get a belly rub. Walter is also potty trained and enjoys going outside and doing a lap around the yard to check out his territory. Walter is good with our other dog, but they haven't really shown any interest in playing together. When not cuddling, Walter likes to sit under the table in his dog bed "den" and chew one a bone or squeaky. Walter is a great dog, with tons of love to give, and would make a great addition to any home 🙂

Trixie is 13 lbs of unconditional love and a very sweet, wonderful, low-key, easy going, quiet companion! She loves to ride in the car, go for walks and shopping! Anywhere her people are is where she wants to be! Her favorite pastime is snuggling!

Trixie is a little slow to make herself at home, but once she does, you have a companion for life.

She is very quiet and rarely makes a sound. She likes to go exploring in the backyard, but always keeps an eye on her people and never wanders far.

She does her business outside, but does not ask to go outside. We put pee pads down which she will use as backup.

She has no problem being around other dogs and cats. She likes to chew on bully sticks, and has just discovered playing with toys.

She would do well with people who telecommute, can bring their pet to work, stay-at-home people, or those who like to travel with their pet companions,

Whitey and Popcorn are brothers. They love being close together and protecting each other. Both are timid at first, but as they warm up to new sounds and sights, they are gaining confidence. Neither are aggressive due to their shyness; in fact, they are very sweet. They would do very well in a home with or without other dogs. Not sure about cats or kids. Of the two, Whitey is the larger and more confident pup. Warning - they will get attached to you and you will get attached as well! They are learning to walk on the leash, play outside and become house broken. Currently, we are crate training them to give them a sense if security and to help with the potty training process. They seem comfortable so far and didn't whine about being in the crate.

This girl is coming to us from a severe hoarding case in West Virginia. These dogs were living in filthy crowded conditions when their owner became overwhelmed with the number of dogs. Riesling is settling nicely in her foster home. She received a handmade blanket from the Brownie's and just loves it.

Snow is one of the WV hoarding dogs and is coming along nicely. She was scared at first but now has developed confidence and a spunky personality. She is full of joy and energy when we come home and is looking for her own forever person to spoil with attention. She is small, fluffy and weighs about 15 pounds. She is 95% housebroken and has a happy lively personality. If you want a funny devoted companion in a small size, Snow may be the one for you.

Miles is a playful Boston Terrier mix who adores his human companions, especially the child variety, following them everywhere they go!  He's already house trained and is good with other dogs his size.  He weighs 30 pounds and rarely barks.  He has such a sweet disposition, he will be a beloved addition to any household!

Whitey is a very sweet, quiet dog who would make a great companion. He is gaining his confidence and warms up to new people once he's been able to observe them for a few minutes. He is in the house with 2 other dogs right now - our dog and his brother - and he interacts well with both of them.

We think Whitey would be great in a home where he gets lots of love and attention. He already knows his name and we've been training him to "sit". He's clearly very smart and is learning quickly. He is happy in his crate and feels safe retreating there to chew on a bone or toy when he's in the mood to relax or take a breather from the other pups. We are also crate training him to help him become fully house broken. He's definitely trainable so we aren't concerned about achieving that goal.

Hi!  My name is Bramble.  I am a spaniel-beagle mix waiting to find my forever home.  My foster mom and everyone else says I’m a very chill dog.   I am housebroken, crate trained and great on a leash.  I love waking my foster mom up with lots of kisses.  I love laying around and cuddling with my foster mom and my yorkie sister (who I love to tease) but I also do enjoy physical activities like my daily walks and occasional trips to the park and off-leash dog park.  I may be a little shy at first but once we get to know each other you will see how playful I can be with you or with other dogs.  I hope to see you at adoption events and hopefully my forever home will be with you! 🙂

I'm a playful boy who loves attention. Neutered, house trained and crate trained, I'm an easy going spaniel mix. When I first came to my foster family, I had a great time playing with my foster family kids and the other foster dogs, and I discovered this fluffy thing in a cage my fosters call the chinchilla ....I had thoughts of "live toy or snack??" I sat and stared with my keen eyes at that fluffy, jumpy thing in the cage but when I tried to say hi by putting my paws on the cage, I quickly learned staring is all I'm allowed to do. I'm good with that. I can stare at that fluffy thing for hours but I know never to jump on the cage now. My foster mom says I'm really smart and take to training quickly. I'm learning to leash train and those daily walks are the best. I love both snuggling up on the dog bed with my fellow dogs and cuddling with the kids when they play on the floor. My foster mom says I have a lot of character and it's really cute when I eat because I like to lie down with my bowl between my legs and relax while I enjoy my food. What can I say, I'm a dog who likes to play and then chillax. I don't bark in the house but I do like to bark at people and dogs as they walk by on the path behind the house...foster mom sometimes puts a bark collar on me when we go to adoption events...I can't help it, I want to say "hi" to all those other dogs!! I'm excited to find my forever home so I can cuddle and play every day with my forever family!
