Stella has been my loyal companion for over 17 years and a witness to much of my life. Through young adulthood, loss, rebuilding, marriage, and starting a family. She was an energetic puppy who loved everyone, but developed some anxiety towards others after a mystery illness that was thankfully treatable. We started running together to get her energy out, and so began a lifelong love of it. She has always been a fighter, overcoming a cancer when she was 9. She was unsure of our kids in the toddler years, but as she and they got older, a precious bond formed. They were able to care for her and snuggle with her in her old age. It was the sweetest thing to witness. I am so grateful for her. Our sweet Stelle Belle, we will love you and hold you in our hearts forever.
