Description: Snoopy is sweet Beagle/Pointer mix pup. At 16 weeks, she is half grown. She is 25 lbs and very friendly and playful. She is house broken but will need obedience training. Snoopy was bought by her previous owner who was not aware of all the needs of a young puppy. AFH has now taken her in and are now looking to find her a forever home.

Description: Sophie is a pure-bred Chi. She came to us from a puppy mill in Missouri. She will require costly knee surgery to fix her luxating patellas. Description: Tikki and Lucy were trapped (along with their now adopted brothers, Tikki and Tavi) before Halloween of 2006. They were approximately 3 months old at the time and still with their mother, who was completely black. (She was also trapped and spay.) Tikki and Lucy are tabbies with very loving personalities (aka: Purrbabies), even though they are now 2 years old. They get along, play and are "dog-friendly" with their fosters' two dogs. Tikki and Lucy are brown tabbies. Tikki is a neutered male. Lucy is a spay female. Both are current on their shots and in good health. The threesome (Rikki was adopted by their foster) love to play and dash up and down their stairs. They have several window seats to watch the world of birds and other creatures. They especially love when a fly, or cricket comes to visit. They all have their own personalities. Lucy has no fear, except when a new person enters her space. Tikki likes to sit nearby the computer and will "lay his paws" on your shoulder when it is time for him to have a face scratch. Tikki is slightly larger than Lucy now that they are adults. They would make a great couple, and would continue to keep each other company, but we would consider splitting them up for the right match. They would love to find their forever home and sleep with you, if allowed. They have been slightly spoiled, and their toys show up everywhere. Description: Hello, my name is Uno. I don't know how I ended up in a rescue, because I am the perfect dog, if I can say so myself...I am extremely handsome, potty-trained, and very sweet and loving. If I have any faults (which I don't), it's that I might be a little bit too spoiled. I love to be with my human all of the time, and will bark or whine if I can't follow them around the house. My foster mom is helping me work on this issue! I love all kinds of people, big and little, and other dogs...I probably chase cats, but my foster mom doesn't know that for sure. If you love little terriers, then please come see me at the adoption event. You won't meet very many dogs as wonderful as me!!!
