Thelma

Thelma arrived at AFH from a shelter in Myrtle Beach. We don't know her life story or why she was given up but she is a real sweetheart. She lost her back right leg after being hit by a car this summer but hardly seems to notice and life as a tripod isn't so bad. She is relearning how to climb stairs but she still loves to take walks and can keep up with all her dog friends. Thelma loves every dog she meets and is also great with cats and kids. She’s alert about sounds outside but never makes a peep... she's a very quiet dog and loves to cuddle. If her big brown eyes don’t steal your heart, her gentle nature will.
