Original description:

Jack recently arrived from the Abingdon shelter. He is house trained and crate trained--he has not had one accident in the house! He is a beautiful dog...and so very full of himself. He loves to play with his foster sister, Ruby who has to put him in his place on occasion when he plays a little too rough. He knows the command 'sit' (does it best when treats are involved) and has learned how to 'drop it' and 'go get it' (those are our commands for the game "Fetch"). Jack also loves to play chase. He is also facinated by the dwarf rabbit in his foster home...he whines as he looks into the bunny's cage... This is one smart dog!!! Jack would also be a Great running partner. His foster mom is now going to teach him 'shake' and 'down'...not necessarily in that order. True to his breed, he is a very active dog and requires a home where he will be played with or is around other dogs to get some of that energy out of his system. His foster mom currently plays "go get it" (fetch) for at least 20 minutes and even that does not seem to wear him down all that much. Jack is still a young boy and is still very mouthy and wants everything he comes in contact with. He has been introduced to the 'nylabone' which helps. With consistent correction we believe he will be a great little guy!
